Custom Box Inserts for Product Fit & Presentation
Custom box inserts position products inside a matching outer box. Plan the material, cutouts, compartments and removal access using the actual products and the assembled box dimensions.

Solid paperboard inserts use folded platforms, tabs or dividers. Corrugated inserts add a fluted structure for partitions and support. Other insert materials shown in a project must be identified separately. Choose a construction for product fit, presentation, assembly and handling rather than appearance alone.

Send the details you have, along with product photos or a reference pack. List quantities per size and artwork, the delivery destination and your target arrival date. The written quotation should identify the included components, sample arrangement, price basis and production and shipping assumptions.
What to check in the sample
Load the real products into an assembled insert and box. Review grip, rubbing, vertical movement, tipping and removal. Product fragility and distribution conditions determine the required pack testing; an insert material name is not a protection certification.
Review structure and product fit before finalizing printed artwork. Confirm the approved dimensions, material, artwork version and finish in writing. Sample availability, cost, order quantity and timing are confirmed for the specific project.

Frequently asked questions
Should the insert be designed before the outer box?
Design them together. The product arrangement determines the insert footprint and height, while the box defines usable space and lid clearance. Approve the complete assembly rather than an insert on its own.
What should I send before requesting a sample or quote?
Provide product dimensions and weight, the required pack format, artwork or a brand reference, quantity per design and delivery destination. Include any contact, performance or documentation requirements. We can then identify what still needs to be resolved before a sample or production quotation.
