The expanded pattern behaves differently from flat wrapping paper or embossed paper cushioning. Agree the supplied width, unexpanded roll length and intended use; expansion and coverage depend on the wrapping method. A paper wrap does not provide a universal glass-protection or drop-test result.

What to check in the sample
Trial the material at the packing station with the real product. Check expansion consistency, surface contact, coverage at corners and movement within the box. Include any interleaf paper and outer pack in the final sample review.
Review structure and product fit before finalizing printed artwork. Confirm the approved dimensions, material, artwork version and finish in writing. Sample availability, cost, order quantity and timing are confirmed for the specific project.

Does honeycomb paper replace every protective insert?
No. Its suitability depends on the product and parcel. A fitted insert, separator or different outer box may still be needed. Evaluate the complete loaded pack against the expected handling.
What should I send before requesting a sample or quote?
Provide product dimensions and weight, the required pack format, artwork or a brand reference, quantity per design and delivery destination. Include any contact, performance or documentation requirements. We can then identify what still needs to be resolved before a sample or production quotation.
