Paper packaging for skincare brands
Custom skincare packaging boxes bring bottles, jars and skincare sets into a coordinated retail or gift presentation. Gulupack produces printed folding cartons, rigid gift boxes and paper inserts around your actual containers, artwork variants and packing workflow.

Develop a compact printed carton around a capped serum bottle, cream jar or pump container. Keep the important label face and opening direction clear.
Plan cleanser, serum, moisturizer or other items together. Mixed heights, jar diameters and accessory cards need a complete layout.
A rigid box or branded mailer can create a reveal for a curated set. Select the structure, insert and shipping outer as separate parts of the brief.
A 30 ml serum bottle does not have a universal outside size. Include the cap, dropper bulb or pump in the measurement and identify any widest shoulder or base. For jars, supply maximum diameter, fitted lid height and any lid overhang.
Show the product upright and in the intended packed orientation. Include filled weight and tell us which surfaces can touch the insert. A pump head may need clearance even if the container body fits a small cavity. The paper box is secondary packaging; it does not seal the formula or establish shelf life.
| Detail | What to decide | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Mixed containers | Bottle, jar and tube layout with each item identified. | All items fit together without caps or labels catching. |
| Insert position | Support points, visible label faces and finger access. | Items can be removed without pulling on a pump or dropper. |
| Cards & accessories | Instructions, spatula, samples or other components. | Extra pieces do not change closure or hide the presentation. |
| Box opening | Folding, hinged, lift-off or drawer structure. | Clearance, opening sequence and consistent packing steps. |
| Variant range | Sizes, formulas, languages and artwork versions. | Correct design count and matching insert for each configuration. |
Related products often share a visual design while changing names, ingredients text, quantity statements or language panels. Supply the approved text for each SKU and identify the latest artwork version. Do not treat a common carton size as proof that every variant uses identical artwork.
Plan the product name, logo and required brand text around the front panel and closure. For barcodes and small copy, follow the agreed dieline safe areas and review the final artwork at actual size. Prepare dieline artwork and compare printing finishes before approving the print specification.
A folding carton can suit a single retail item; a rigid gift box may suit a multi-item presentation. Neither removes the need to evaluate bottle fit, inserts or parcel protection. Paperboard inserts and corrugated supports address different construction briefs.
For a fragrance-focused range, use perfume packaging. For small oil bottles and oil gift sets, use essential oil boxes. This page focuses on skincare bottles, jars and routines within the broader cosmetics and personal care range.
This page covers paper cartons, gift boxes and supporting paper components. Containers, closures, formula filling and compatibility are separate product requirements.
They can share a coordinated visual direction, but dimensions, inserts and artwork need their own checks. Identify all sizes and the quantity for each version.
Provide both complete containers and their filled weights. Review mixed heights, clearances, support points and removal with the complete set.
Protection depends on the complete pack and handling route. Review the insert, retail box, shipping outer and cushioning together, with any required tests agreed separately.
Send container photos, capped dimensions, filled weights and your SKU quantities. We can discuss a coordinated paper packaging structure and sample plan.
