The written quotation should identify the included components, sample arrangement, price basis and production and shipping assumptions.
What to check in the sample
Approve the complete loaded layout with the intended inner packs. Any direct food-contact material requires suitability and documentation for its exact use and destination. Do not infer food-contact status from a paper description or product photo. A decorative paper box alone does not provide temperature control or prevent chocolate from melting.
Review structure and product fit before finalizing printed artwork. Confirm the approved dimensions, material, artwork version and finish in writing. Sample availability, cost, order quantity and timing are confirmed for the specific project.

Can the paper box touch unwrapped chocolate?
Treat direct contact as a separate specification. Identify the exact paper, coating, ink, adhesive, inner liner and use conditions, and confirm appropriate documentation for the destination before approval. A sealed or wrapped inner pack may keep the outer gift box separate from the chocolate.
What should I send before requesting a sample or quote?
Provide product dimensions and weight, the required pack format, artwork or a brand reference, quantity per design and delivery destination. Include any contact, performance or documentation requirements. We can then identify what still needs to be resolved before a sample or production quotation.
