Select Board Strength for the Complete Shipment
A shipping carton specification should account for the contents, packed weight, stacking and handling conditions. Single-wall, double-wall and specialty corrugated structures are options to assess against those needs. The right board cannot be selected from an appearance photograph alone.
Corrugated product packaging and a shipping outer carton may serve different purposes. Explain whether the box will sit on a retail shelf, travel as an individual parcel or hold multiple products for bulk shipment. Review samples and any required compression or distribution tests before confirming the final packing arrangement.

No. Board construction should match the packed weight, stacking, handling and required tests. A suitable specification may use single-wall or double-wall board according to the application.
Can shipping boxes carry our printed logo?
Specify the printed sides, artwork, colors and required finish. The selected printing method and board surface are part of the agreed quotation.
Can cartons include dividers or inserts?
Yes, internal partitions and inserts can be developed around the product count, dimensions and packing sequence. Evaluate the inner and outer packaging together.
Which dimensions should we provide?
Provide the usable internal length, width and depth, together with the product or packed-set dimensions. Identify any existing external dimensions separately.
