A wrapped rigid box offers a more substantial opening experience. Consider a hinged, magnetic, drawer or two-piece format, with an insert designed around the full bottle and cap.
Plan the arrangement of multiple vials, bottles, cards or other items together. Keep labels readable and check that each item can be removed without disturbing the rest of the presentation.
Measure the bottle at its widest points, including decorative shoulders, the base and the fitted cap. A tall cap, an asymmetric bottle or a loose accessory may control the required box size. Share the filled bottle weight and show the intended upright or horizontal orientation.
An insert should locate the bottle without making it difficult to remove. Review contact points, finger access and the position of the label on a physical sample. Decorative lining or a printed wrap changes appearance; the complete pack still needs to be evaluated for the handling it will encounter.

A retail perfume box is not automatically a shipping package. Plan the outer shipping carton, cushioning and the complete packed arrangement for the delivery route. Glass weight, parcel handling and the carrier’s requirements need their own review.
Paper packaging does not seal the perfume or preserve the fragrance formulation. Bottle closure performance, liquid compatibility and any transport requirements for the contents must be handled separately from the decorative box.
Use the actual bottle to check fit and removal. Review the structural sample first, then approve the print panels, text orientation, artwork version and finish references. If a discovery set contains several sizes, check every cavity and item together.
Read the packaging samples and approval guide for a practical sign-off sequence. Prepare dieline artwork once the box structure and dimensions are agreed.
Share the widest bottle and cap dimensions, weight, orientation and a sample or drawing. The structure and insert can then be reviewed around the actual shape rather than a standard bottle-volume label.

A rigid gift box should not be assumed to provide sufficient transit protection by itself. Review an appropriate shipping outer, cushioning and any testing needed for the finished pack.
